Acoustics project music
International Research School June 2008 took place in the countryside of Moscow.
The founders of the project are All-Russian Movement of Creative Teachers "Researcher", Moscow State Center for Youth, lyceum № 1553 "Litsey na Donskoy". This event was taken under the protection of MILSET - international movement supporting supplementary scientific activities for youngsters.
The School is an initiative of creative enthusiasts organizing research projects for teenagers.
Large part of the School work was obtained by the researches in profile groups. There were 8 international teams and students had been elaborating in them within five days. Within the School days there were also taken lectures in the field of social problems, excursions to Kremlin, Tretyakov Gallery, Museum of Lomonosov Moscow State University and to the Museum of Earth.
There were three main tasks set up before International Research School:
During the first two days there were team-building trainings developed for the School by psychological patronage department of Moscow State Center for Youth. Students from all over Russia and other countries had to become friends and find things in common. Trainings and games had to create atmosphere and prepare for further mutual work.
The ideas and methods of profile groups work had been worked out by tutors - young scientists and students of Lomonosov Moscow State University, Pedagogical University and Moscow State House for Youth. There were also young specialists from abroad involved: Konstantinos Nikolantonakis from Greek University of Western Makedonia, Elena Karkazi from Northern Collage of Thessaloniki, Fernando Solis Gonzalez and Juan Alberto Guevara from Puebla Autonomous University (BUAP) and Salome Matos from Lisbon University. During two months before the beginning of the School tutors and assistants jointly had been working out goals, methods and tasks for their future projects.
Fernando Solis Gonzalez from Mexico offered the project in robotics. Designing and programming robots is one of the most perspective approaches in engineering and the participants had opportunity to take part in this workshop. The student of Popular Autonomous University of the State of
Puebla (UPAEP), Fernando Solis Gonzalez brought big rucksack full of modules for robots designing. Students experienced robotics with great interest. Pavel An worked as Fernando's assistant, a student of Pedagogical University, physics and IT .
Denis Denisenko, a specialist from the Institute of Space Researches of the Russian Academy of Science, developed a project in the field of astronomy. The research was taken jointly with Salome Matos - a student of Lisbon University. The idea of his project was to introduce binary stars systems and other astronomy objects and phenomenon.
Ekaterina Spiridonova from Moscow State Linguistic University and Konstantinos Nikolantonakis - a tutor of epistemology (University of Western Macedonia) developed and realized a linguistic research. They studied main notions taken from social sphere, natural phenomenon etc. in different linguistic groups; they created the world word map.
The psychology project was worked out by Alexey Obuhov and organized by his graduate Anastasia Korzhenkova. They studied the self-image and image of the other world given by the students of International Research School. The assistant of the project was a clinical psychologist, Elena Karkazi, Northern Collage of Thessaloniki.
Egor Leonenko is a student in Lomonosov Moscow State University, geology. He offered a project in the field of crystallography. His assistant was Juan Alberto Guevara from Autonomous University in Puebla. Within the working days their group had been studying arborization, symmetry and other processes in the sphere of crystallography. They used polarizing microscope.
Molecular biology group worked under supervision of Stephan Aleshin, bioengineering and bioinformatics faculty of Lomonosov MSU post-graduate, and the student of chemistry faculty of MSU Dmitry Chistyakov. Their project had deal with strategies against inflammatory component.
Acoustics laboratory project was worked out by the manager of tone studio of the Moscow State House for Youth Eugeny Ballad. They recorded natural and artificial sounds with highly sensitive devices and discovered peculiarities.
Alexej Kosarev is the head of chemistry department in Moscow State House of Technical and Scientific Creativity for Youth. His students got complexes of poliazotic legands. They worked in the laboratory of the HTSCY. The participants obtained great skills in organic synthesis.
There were 45 participants from Russian regions and Mexico, Turkey, Italy.
The students worked with great enthusiasm. We hope that youngsters have found new friends and tried themselves in some scientific field on international basement.
