Trainer: Alexey Kosarev

Alexey is the head of chemistry department in Moscow State House of Technical and Scientific Creativity for Youth.
Alexej has been a trainer at the previous IRS chemistry project (2008). The title: Synthesis of copper complexes compounds with polynitrogen-organic lygands, as colour-fire agents. Science interests: organic chemistry, pharmacology.

Title of the Project: The ferromagnetic liquid

This liquids actually are the colloid systems, containing ferromagnetic nanoparticles and the organic solvent or water.

The goal of the research – is reception of magnetic liquids on the basis of some ferroliquids  and their derivatives with the modified surface will be spent. It is planned to receive the ferromagnetic particles covered cationic and anionic with polymers, to study influence of various surface-active substances on properties of received magnetic liquids.

Practical part of  the research includes receptions of some substances necessary for work from accessible materials.or example, reception abietic acid from rosin, bilious acids, chitosan and it N-quartenised and acylic derivatives is planned. Also preparation of various ferroluquids and demonstration of some physical properties.
