Acoustics

Participants: Iran Sanadzadeh (Iran), Vasilina Yefimova (Moscow, Russia), Natalia Vuzman (Moscow, Russia)
This year tutors suggested two different ways of work. Those who wanted to study physics and acoustics in the field of experimental physics investigated human ear upper frequency thresholds (UFT) and revealed the dependency of UFT on gender and nationality. Participants interested in musical acoustics recorded sounds of nature and mixed them into musical compositions.

Chemistry
Tutors: Alexei Kosarev, Anton Luchashevich (Russia)

Participants: Ksenia Stankevich (Tomsk region, Russia),Anna Shtaynmets, Anasatasia Pronina, Kholodov Roman, Sofia Maryasina (Moscow, Russia).
For five days they had been working out fluorescent marks for biologically important molecules.

History
Tutors: Roman Shljahtin, Artem Kosmarsky (Russia).

Participants: Olga Ivlieva (Moscow, Russia), Anna Fedoseyeva (Moscow, Russia), Anastasia Korovina (Moscow, Russia)
They investigated what the features of history writing in different cultures and wrote the history of the 2nd IRS.
Molecular biology

Tutors: Dmitry Chistyakov, Sergey Legotsky, Ksenia Maximova (Russia), Denisa Kaluzova, Czeck Republic).

Students: Shabnam Hosseini (Iran), Roman Ivannikov (Tatatstan, Russia), Ekaterina Filipova (Bashkortastan, Russia), Ekaterina Samigina (Tambov region, Russia), Elena Zvonareva (Tambov region, Russia).
The students studied methods of immune-ferment analysis with the help of the experiments for finding pork in food, defining quantity of triidothyronine in blood serum, and the amount of chloramphenicol in milk.
Hydrobiology

Tutors: Galina Frolova, Michael Litvinov (Russia).
Participants: Saba Abbassioun, Hasti Fekrat (Iran), Serafima Guseva (Moscow, Russia), Anastasia Babina (Belgorod, Russia).

This group studied the species diversity of phytoplankton, zooplankton and zoobenthos oin our water reservoirs; they estimated the ecological state (quality of water) of two rivers by means of phytoplankton and zoobenthos.
Ornithology


Tutors: Olga Kochetova (Russia), Aurore Malapert (France).
Participants: Alexey Novikov, Stepanova Tatiana (Moscow, Russia).
Students and the tutors spent sunny nights and mornings monitoring surrounding woods and gathering data about birds' speeches living in nearby forests.
Psycholinguistics

Tutors: Ekaterina Spiridonova (Russia), Vanessa Opsommer (France).
Participants: Lilia Shayehova (Tatarstan, Russia), Artem Gvozdikov (Moscow region, Russia), Elena Usadova, Anastasia Shibut (Moscow, Russia).
In the framework of this project students investigated specifics of the gender linguistics and found out differences in perception of different patterns among girls and boys from different cultures.
Psychology
Tutors: Anastasia Korzhenkova, Anastasia Smirnova (Russia).

Paticipants: Ekaterina Bobrova, Ksenia Navolokina (Belgorod, Russia), Evgeny Tibenkov (Tatarstan, Russia), Gleb Zatsarinny (Moscow region, Russia), Natalia Zolotareva (Moscow, Russia), Irina Svoyevolina (Altay region, Russia).
The project deals with gender peculiarities of the world image of boys and girls of different parts of the world. This project had been launched a year ago and the outcomes of the first IRS were used.
Astronomy
Tutors: Denis Denisenko (Russia), Salome Pereira di Matos (Portugal)
Particiants: Verstreken Christophe, Benjamin Dieudonne (Belgium), Alexandra Nikitina, Ani Gazoyan (Tomsk region, Russia), Denis Uleyev (Tatarstan, Russia).
Tutors continued their project started a year ago. This time it was called "Living Sky" and members of the group explored the basic procession of astronomical images.
Robotics and Mechatronics

Tutors: Fernando Solis Gonzales, Héctor Emmanuel Muñoz Zapata, Jesús Iván Salomón García (Mexico), Pavel An (Russia)

Participants: Pavel Melinikov (Altay region, Russia), Zahra Miraab Samiee, Hananeh Haghdadi,Ghazaleh Azizi Kashi (Iran), Natalia Leontovich, Mikle Naki (Moscow, Russia), Anastasia Omegova (Moscow region, Russia)
This group had realized two different projects:
1. The construction of an artificial arm for Celia Alexandra Garcia Salazar, who lost both limbs in a car accident;
2. Students of the group studied the basics of robots programming and designing and created robots capable to make assigned tasks.


The participants of 2nd IRS visited an Expo-Science taking place at VVZ (biggest Expo-complex of Moscow) and could get acquainted with hundreds of perspective workouts of Russian students. Children got very interested with the stands of leading Russian universities, where they could find information about the profiles of education offered by them. There were organized a tele-bridge between the fair and 2nd IRS and visitors of the Expo could hear the participants of IRS and get to know about the work of their project groups.


A workshop for teachers in Pedagogic and Psychology was organized for delegation leaders, where they could share their experience in the field of students' research activity. It was also very interesting for all the teachers to learn about the ways of how government support gifted children in different countries.
It was very important that the event had been visited by Antoine van Ruymbeke - the president of MILSET-Europe, who came to support the IRS work and also to manage the final Youth Climate Conference workshop organized within our event.
The School is held for the second time and is very perspective and has great importance because:
The interest that IRS obtains on both national and international levels let us to assume that this project is very important in the sphere of research activity of youngsters within the framework of supplementary education.
