What to bring?

In June the weather in Moscow is very unstable. The temperature may change from +5 C on Monday to +30 on Tuesday. And the clothes you bring with you should correspond to the fact. We strongly recommend you to have:

  1. weatherwear ( raincoats, etc.) to use in case of rain and wind
  2. sweaters (jumpers, pullovers, etc.)
  3. warm socks
  4. sportswear for walking, caps, and something to put on your feet while in the hotel
  5. an additional pair of shoes to put on in case your first pair gets wet
  6. some formal clothes to use at the opening and closing ceremonies
  7. personal medicine for those who are used to any special one

It’s welcomed to have:

  1. pencils, notebooks, calculators
  2. a laptop if you have one
  3. swimsuits ( if you want to swim)
  4. something bright to wear at the discos
  5. souvenirs for new friends

At every IRS we have what we call " a cultural evening" - a show, where the delegations present their countries. All the participants, trainers and assistants take part in it. Your performance might be be a dance in national costumes, or a traditional song, or both; or just an interesting and colorful presentation with a lot of photos, or whatever you might invent.

Please, try to think of a traditional game to bring with you. It will be used at morning exercises.

You can also bring songs (with printed lyrics) and modern/traditional music of your country.
